Metabolic Syndrome

Investigating the constellation of metabolic abnormalities underlying metabolic syndrome, including central obesity, dyslipidaemia, hypertension, and insulin resistance, and discussing the implications for cardiovascular risk assessment and targeted interventions. The session will cover evidence-based interventions such as lifestyle modifications, pharmacotherapy, and novel therapies aimed at managing and preventing metabolic syndrome and its associated complications.
