Endocrinology is a branch of biology and medicine that deals with the endocrine system, its diseases, and its specific secretions which are known as hormones. It is also concerned and related with the developmental events proliferation, growth, and differentiation, and it is also related with the psychological or behavioural activities of metabolism, growth, and development, tissue function, sleep, digestion, respiration, excretion, mood, stress, lactation, movement, reproduction, and sensory perception which are caused by hormones which are secreted by the endocrinology.
